How to Block Someone on Gmail
1. Open Gmail > Sign in> Then click on the arrow icon next to the blue search button on the right corner in the search bar made on top.
2. Now enter the email ID you want to block in the Free section. You can enter a special email id (xyz@abc.com) or the entire domain (@abc.com)> then click on the Creative Filter> Check Delete> Then click on the Character Filter. By doing this, the mail coming from that particular email ID will automatically move to the Trash folder. You will not receive a notification for these emails and they will be automatically deleted after 30 days.
3. If you are on a mail and want to block that ID, then click on the down arrow that appears next to reply. After that go to the filter message like this. Now follow the previous instructions.
Gmail does not allow blocking users to block mail from sending mail to any email ID. If you do not want an email from a particular email ID, then follow the instructions above.
